Performers Edge Dance Academy was founded under the basis of love and adoration for dance. From the very first class taught in 2003, each studio room, faculty member, and student wreaked the passion for dance. Owner Stefanie Salaman has devoted herself to building a studio of excellence and pure respect to the dance education. The dance educators at Performers Edge are dedicated to giving each and every student the personal attention they deserve and support they need to continue as well as enjoy their dance experience.

Performers Edge of Westchester opens its doors for classes on Monday September 13th. For your convenience our spacious waiting room is located at the front of the building for all questions or concerns, registration, payments etc. There are two large studio rooms with wall to wall mirrors, marley floors and viewing windows through our beautiful french doors. We have a large dressing room for all PEDA members. Parents are welcome to drop off their child/children or stay while classes are in session. Miss Stefanie Salaman and staff are excited to bring their talent to Westchester County.

Performers Edge Bronx location is located in the heart of Throgs Neck where there is much of a family oriented environment. Our waiting room and office are located in the front of the building so help can always be attained and a family, fun atmosphere set.

Our two spacious studios (studio B - shown at right) are equipped with Marley floors, wall-to-wall mirrors and viewing windows. (more pictures of the studios at the botom of the page) There is a limited amount of students to each class so each student can acquire the correct terminology and experience; a one-on-one dance education.

The students at Performers Edge range from toddlers to adults. No matter the age, each student is treated with respect and develops a love for the art of dance. Whether a recreational student or company member, each student proves that they are talented individuals.

Performers Edge students have modeled for famous designers such as Ralph Lauren, and have been featured in costume companies such as A Wish Come True. They have performed in Madison Square Garden and have been chosen to compete in Germany and Italy for world competitions.

Aside from their dancing abilities, our students show discipline, self respect, and are highly intelligent with many on the honor roll and on full scholarships.

To sum it up, the students at Performers Edge are not only dancers, but also passionate beings, so be proud and don’t be scared to blurt out that you are a member of one of New York’s finest dance studios!
