There is a $35 single child registration fee; $55 per family. Competitive dancers will pay a $50 registration fee. First and last months tuition and registration fee are due upon registering. If tuition is late and
past the 10th of the month, there will be a $10 late fee added to your account. All payments
made to PEDA can be as cash, check, credit or debit. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover. We also accept Venmo payments. There will be a $40 fee for any returned checks.
Proper Dance attire is required for all dance classes. Please contact us for a list of proper leotard, tights and shoes for each class. For every class at PEDA the
student's hair must be pulled back (away from face) in a ponytail or bun. If student is not
prepared more than three times the office will call the parent.
If you have a child in more than one class or more than one child attending PEDA we do our very
best to keep them in one show; however we cannot guarantee it.
Recital Fee of $250 which all participants have to pay in order to attend recital. This includes 2 recital Tickets, a recital t-shirt, a Peda Dance bag, 1 Costume and a USB or download of recital.
All tickets for our year-end show will be $25 each. If you are in more than one show you will
receive two (2) free tickets to one of the shows. Tuition, costumes and all remaining balances
must be paid in full prior to the sale of tickets. Tickets will not be sold or held aside for anyone
with an existing bill. NO EXCEPTIONS!
All students must arrive dressed with hair and make-up 1 hour prior to their show time. Every
student must stay for finale in order to receive his or her medal, trophy or plaque.
At the recital PEDA hands out
scholarships and 5, 10, 15 year Participant Awards.
If your child is more than 15 minutes late for class he/she will not be able to participate. They
will be required to sit and observe the class. Lateness disrupts and distracts the entire class.
At Peda we encourage all dancers to utilize our make up class program that we offer as a courtesy to all dancers. We offer this program for any missed classes due to illness and or other appointments. Notify the office of any missed classes in advance.
PEDA will follow the NYC Public School calendar for closings related to bad weather. Be sure to
call the studio office for any additional information. If a class is canceled by Performers Edge
Dance Academy we will have a make-up class. If the class is canceled due to bad weather we are
not required to make the class up.
PEDA encourages parent observation however due to new COVID-19 policies we have some restrictions. Students 5 and under can be accompanied by 1 Adult. Ages 6 and over will be dropped off and escorted to the front door where the Instructor will greet each student and walk the class to the designated studio. For ages 6 and over parents we recommend you sign up to have access to our Zoom ID and Password so you can watch the class live through Zoom.
If for any reason you may have a question or concern please book an appointment with the
director of the school. All issues will be resolved in a respectful and professional manner. PEDA is
always open to new and helpful suggestions.
